Do you like rewards for playing?

Do you like unlocking upgrades or unlockables during a games campaign, or do you like a straight forward campaign?

Even though I have close to 30 achievements already(plus more on the way), unlockable side missions after the game's campaign is complete, and unlockable ranks and characters in the game's multiplayer, I feel as if the game needs more to unlock.

When I was first creating it, I made it possible to buy and upgrade weapons during the campaign, but unfortunately I lost all this work multiple times(about 5 or 6 times) due to my computer failing horribly, so I had to redo a couple of months of work at a time.

I didn't know how to back up work back then, I was only like 11, Dat shit ain't funny. >:(

So all I have now is Online highscores for the game's campaign and Survival mode, and the achievements and shits.

:(

So should I try to recode it so you can unlock and buy weapons, and all that kind of delicious shits?

What would you love to unlock in a game?

The missions in the game are pretty straight forward, it's pretty much like Gears of War if you've ever played it.

I didn't :P What I had in mind was something like "Blow (some random building) up to pass the mission, optional: kill every single enemy to unlock the SMG".

I will make some small little seekret achievements in the game if that's what you want.

Like, "Kill 10 chickens with any weapon". :P

Some games have random achievements pop up when you get them, but theyre not seen anywhere in the game, just when it happens.

Just for bonus.

Yeah, I already have achievements like that in the game, they are visible though, but it will not have any description of how to get it, it will just say,

"Secret Achievement - Unlock this achievement to find out more about it."

Dont say that, thats a word for word rip off the xbox games with that!

Rippoffs, ftw.

:D

Edit: But for serious, I will see what I can do.

Sounds like a good one for Minecraft…

Have you considered side areas for missions as well?

What do you mean by "side areas"?

colseed 13 years, 8 months ago

Well…I guess little areas off of the main path that the player can choose to explore?…

I'm not exactly sure how to explain it, but say if the main mission is to go through a hallway, then there could be a side area behind one of the doors along that hallway. Where, say, maybe there's no enemies, but there is some ammo/health. And/or collectibles. And perhaps a couple dead people around a soda machine.

Lol. This is exactly what I love to do, I always have at least a few dead people lying around, but I always try to make it look as if something really happened there instead of just some random dead guy in the middle of the woods.

I do have missions like this, especially toward the middle half of the game when the player is captured by the aliens and he is on the alien's home planet. You have to collect a lot of guns back because you have no contact with the rest of your squad, and btw, this one of the missions where it is amazingly difficult, because you have to face some of the game's toughest enemies on your own. (Usually in this game, you are with your squad).
