Do you like unlocking upgrades or unlockables during a games campaign, or do you like a straight forward campaign?
Even though I have close to 30 achievements already(plus more on the way), unlockable side missions after the game's campaign is complete, and unlockable ranks and characters in the game's multiplayer, I feel as if the game needs more to unlock.When I was first creating it, I made it possible to buy and upgrade weapons during the campaign, but unfortunately I lost all this work multiple times(about 5 or 6 times) due to my computer failing horribly, so I had to redo a couple of months of work at a time.I didn't know how to back up work back then, I was only like 11, Dat shit ain't funny. >:(So all I have now is Online highscores for the game's campaign and Survival mode, and the achievements and shits. :(So should I try to recode it so you can unlock and buy weapons, and all that kind of delicious shits?What would you love to unlock in a game?
:D
should've answered this like "no we don't like rewards for playing, we like to be punished brutally until we go crawl into a corner and cry"
and before you say that's not true, remember the most popular GM series of all time: JumperOh, there are sections of the game that are brutally difficult….
Oh, you'll see…:)D:
..i meant to type :D but i think that applies better lol.>:D
MGS4 did it pretty well. You earned money throughout the game and you can buy stuff like "stealth guns", etc. So when you replayed the game your money carried over with it.
Yeah, I already have it like that, so the money stays the same even if you start the campaign over.
totally forgot about IWBTG, it was after my time haha. but yes, that game was stupidly popular.
@Cesque
The missions in the game are pretty straight forward, it's pretty much like Gears of War if you've ever played it.There are collectibles in the game, I had a thing where 64D members are mentioned in various letters that can be found throughout the game, also you earn achievements for collecting a certain amount of collectibles along the way. So that should add some replay value for 64D members. :)
