Thanks, if I had to I wouldn't mind spriting the rest of the work for him.
And uhhh… I got quite a few sources for good sound effects for weapons.Want some JID?I'm pretty sure that you wouldn't want to sprite all of the sprites in my game, I've got over 300 sprites probably.
But if you want to… :DAnd may I see those sound effects?Sure! But one thing - I'll have a look at what sprites will need to be worked on - Judging by the screenshots most things are fine, such as groundtextures and such - So I'll work on the sprites that really need to be polished on.
If you're working in Game Maker 8.0, I advise you to save a resource package with only the sprites so that I can check them out. I have no need to look at the entire game, so, yeah. :)Right now I'm stuck at Tafe - I don't keep all my resources on my USB because it's almost filled with my classwork right now, so I can't show you my sounds that I've got, but what I'll do is give you a couple of links though, and then I'll upload some packages that I compiled myself for you when I get home in about 8 hours.Gusanos (Liero clone) mod list^uses many sounds from many other places, all are free to use, so go ahead and rip wavs from the mods.I'll add more when I find the rest :P*edit*More Liero modpacks that contain lots of awesome soundsGameBanana is an excellent source for sound mods as wellDownload and install LieroXtreme and rip weapon wavs from there tooAnd if that's not enough, click on the weapon mod file in this page for more weapon sounds goodnessBasically, any freeware game has freeware resources - The sounds that are used in all mods and games that are freeware are royalty free. So go ahead! Use them =Dhttp://www.freesound.org/index.php
^Ugh I hate freesound and it's library full of cheap half-assed sounds.
It's much easier finding quality sounds within mods for freeware games, that, is a definite yes.Someone needs to fix that formatting crap that makes reading text nearly impossible - on the right side of the screen. D:<
Will do.
