Nintendo got haxxed

First Sony, now Nintendo…

Furrealz, who's next, Microsoft? Activision? EA?

Anyone can be haxxed. The world is gonna end, all of our PS3's, Wii, and 360's are gonna get haxxed and try to kill us all. D:

We're all gonna die. ;_;

Activision's been constantly hacked if you count Call of Duty. I hope they're next though.

Also, details/source?

Here you go

@Cyrus

I could give a shit about Nintendo getting hacked. It doesn't affect me.

I'm just hoping that they don't hack Microsoft next.

Yeah but unlike Sony, Nintendo had the important customer stuff well secured so the hackers didn't get to it =p

True dat.

I hope MS's servers are secure as well, and that they don't lie to their users like Sony did.

MS probably worked on their security a bit after what happened to Sony.

All aboard The Lulz Boat!

They got server configuration files, equating it with sony's "lol how to security" is somewhat like equating a single gunshot with hiroshima.

I like reading the comments of people cursing at them and saying they should be put in jail. Its not like theyre hacking a BANK or something of real importance? Theyre just game consoles. People get viruses on their computers all the time and dont complain about the people who make them (specially cause they dont know who they are).

The hackers have pride in themselves in causing big problems with big companies and frustrating the customers. Though I think they should start trying to get rewarded for their efforts if they tell the network about the security holes instead of exploiting them.

Uh, Alert, there are laws about that shit. You have certain responsibilities if you're storing things like credit card details, and if sony weren't following them then YES, there should be action taken. You likely can't blame any one, or any small group, of people for what could only have been a general failure of the corporation, but can sure as hell fine them a lot of money. Because data security is not a joke. It is not "just a game console" when people's personal details are made available.

Hackers who steal your personal information just because they can, deserve to die in a forest fire.
