It's sexy, but I hate how the favorites bar is on the right now, it's gonna take some getting used to.
It also makes some text look weird, but I'm liking it so far.Eh, short blog is short. It's sexy, but I hate how the favorites bar is on the right now, it's gonna take some getting used to.

I knew someone was going to bring that up.
The difference is, is that I wasn't bashing FF or any other browser. Also, I wrote this after those sentences:Well, I've tried IE9. It's a good browser. It's not *as* good as FF or Chrome, but it's a good browser.
I still wish it didn't exist so there was one less platform to target in web development, though. It's just "cool" to mindlessly jump on the bandwagon and hate on IE. It's sort of like how people are bullies, but this is just completely stupid. They all open webpages, that's all that truly matters. You can argue speed or looks but speed is really dependent upon your internet and computer.
Javascript execution speed isn't, not is initial load speed or relative extension speed. There's PLENTY of things to compare - saying there isn't is like saying all OS' run applications, that's all that matters.
In IE9s case though, it was the fastest browser when it was released. I dunno if any of the other browsers have managed to increase their speed beyond IE9 yet, but its more than fast enough.
I don't get what everyone's trying to prove when they try to start console/browser wars. Are they so eager to demean others to make their own personal choice look more reasonable? Or is it an elitist thing where they think they have to outdo everyone?
I use Chrome because I like its support for my search engine of choice, and it's fairly compact, not because I think other browsers are inferior. Let's keep it at that. It's not like you guys dropped thousands of dollars on your browser and can't easily switch off of it. I still use Firefox on occasion and Internet Explorer isn't outside of my standards, either. Hell, I even use Safari (though I've had a lot of issues with it updating whenever I used an FTP).I don't get why people having opinions and sharing them on the internet is an "X war". What happened to things like discussion?
Becausr they usually degrade into "I like X because it's better than Y because Y sucks."
PY, you may have noticed I wasn't pointing anyone out.
Discussion is one thing, wars are another. Most of the "discussions" I've seen here have been in the format Kamira pointed out, and I don't know about you, but I'm getting a bit tired of them. I like to see when people can treat each other like equals while still sharing their opinions, something many people on the internet seem to be bad at.If it gets to the point where participants are insulting each other and/or the product they support, it's not a discussion. And if you haven't noticed, insulting is something 64Digiters seem to do naturally.
