The game is far too rewarding for sniping, and far too punishing for getting in between enemies.
The only safe way to get through enemies is, really, hiding in a corner, and greeting any ninja that jumps at you with a blast in the face. Slightly tentative after some time.I got to the second boss on easy - though, really, the difficulty doesn't make that much of a difference. You either know how to prevent getting hurt, or not. If you don't, getting in a giant pit full of white ninjas - like the inavoidable one before the second boss - will almost always get you killed.Before that white ninja spawning pool, I barely got hurt. And you can barely get hurt if you know how to avoid every danger in every room. A lot of learning through death :DMy tip: Make the difficulty modes differ more. Maybe throw in unexpected enemies on higher difficulties, or make the enemies faster / smarter / stronger. The health doesn't count that much (at least between normal and easy).Ps.
