<img src="http://64digits.com/users/JaJ/caps.PNG">From left to right: Bill, Bob, Barny, Bernard
They can't see their own caps, it sais so in the description :P that means even if they take them off :o
And of course they can't move :PAnd there is a solution.By the way, Bob can see the color of Barnys hat… look at the arrowsI see the arrows, and the description indicates they can't see their own hats while they are wearing them
Barny would. Seeing as Bob does not answer, that means he does not know, which implies that the two hats in front of him are not the same color. Seeing as Barny can easily see that the hat in front of him is blue, and he has to be wearing a different color as the hat in front of him for Bob not to have known, Barny can easily figure out that he is wearing red.
..and so, you need to edit the title of this blog to say (solved)
Bill because I stuck a mirror in front of him. :)
I'm with etpayn :P
Korberos. Think about this.
THey don't knoow they are in such order. For all they know, bill could be wearing blue and bob could be wearing red.they can't tell eachother what color hat the other has? how the hell are they spose to figure this out if they cant turn around… u sure you didn't get something wrong in translating this puzzle?
cuz if they could talk to eachother, and even if they can't turn around… well, I've gotten it down to thisBILL: RRBB RB BOB: RB RB BARNY: RRB RED BERNARD:RRBB BLUEthe first set of letters is when they start off…. then once each who can see tells the others what color hats they see, they figure out what is color is possibly left for them to be wearing… I havn't tried figureing it out from here…korberos is right (again)
"THey don't knoow they are in such order. For all they know, bill could be wearing blue and bob could be wearing red. " But that doesn't matter. They can't know it right away.WHAT IF the order was Red Red Blue Blue (which it isn't) Bob would know he was wearing Red, since there are two red caps and two blue caps, and he sees two red caps in front of him so he'd had to wear blue. If this was the case, Bob would say he knew color cap he had.BUT Bob isn't saying anything. Because of that, Barny knows his cap has a different color as the one in front of him, so he knows he is wearing red, Barny knows it first. But korberos already said that, just trying to clear things up :Pbill, i know it! he may be looking to the left, but perhaps they're on a small world and he can see around it, allowing him to see the other three! then again, if that was true, then bob would also know what color he is… 2 answers? i dunno.
