Well, I last blogged 2 years ago today, 3 days from my bday, woot.
Life..has been up and down. I've been sick for the past week, which should have consisted of my exams, so that's kinda a win, then my grand-uncle died on Tuesday, so had a funeral.. uh, moved on from 360 to PS3 last year (well, nearly 2 years now), wasting hours away on games such as Metal Gear Online, Modern Warfare 2 & BFBC2. I really don't have anything to say about my life, how amazing. Oh well, I'll leave life @ this, not that anyone cares. ^-^GM/etcI only recently found out about GM8, and seeing as I haven't touched GM since like…08/early 09, I decided to download it for the fun of it, and see what's new. Torrented the Director's Cut version, just so I can whore the game even more. =D Ordering Silent Hill Homecoming tomorrow, anybody here play that? If yeah, would you recommend? I'm iffy about it, I liked SH1, I loved SH2, SH3 was ..meh, SH4 was rancid. So yeah, opinions please. Doesn't look like a proper SH installment, which is understandable judging by the whole feel of the game. Who knows, I'll give it a shot.Oh, and the Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition release? I think it's got a good level of activity in my opinion, it's not as great as it used to be but I love the people here.And good to hear a blog from youi thought SH3 was the BEST, but it was the first i played and i was like 12 at the time lol. i don't think i've played SH1 yet. if you haven't played Origins, you aren't really missing out cause i thought it sucked.
i was trying to make a similar type of horror game in GM's 3d but i had computer trouble and lost all my work and haven't picked it up since.. i'm sure at some point i will.@Kaz: Ah, yeah I figured, shame, I missed when 64D used to have at least 10/12 members active all the time, lol.
@Bryan: Hey :D@Marbs: I do believe it has been two years, yeah, time does go wayyy too fast. =[@Ferrett: ? I know MGO's already out, I've been playing it since 2 months after release. And ever since then, it's declined immensely. Full of glitchers/really bad hosts now-a-days. I was contemplating ordering the JP version, granted, I'd lag quite a bit, but there's no glitchers/etc on those servers.Here in EU the activity on MGO has dropped quite a bit, there used to constantly be 950 in Otacon & at LEAST 400 in Meryl, now it's barely scraping 600 in Otacon. :/@Hel: SH3 was good, but allow me to explain why I concluded with 'meh':SH3 is heavily based off SH1; Heather, is Cheryl, as you find out @ the end of the game. Cheryl is the girl who went missing in SH1, when her father, Harry, who 'dies' in SH3*, gets involved in a car crash. He loses Cheryl, and tries to follow her. Then he wanders throughout Silent Hill, encountering al those puzzles, monsters that want to eat your face and whatnot. I won't spoil the game for you; but SH1 has a re-birthing thing going on, Cheryl gets lost, Alessa is being used for the Incubus, Cheryl and Alessa are identical and therefore are used to breed the Incubus who uh, 'controls' Silent Hill. (This is my take on it anyways)*What I found weird is Harry dies in SH3, yeah? Well, if you don't want a spoiler in SH1, don't read on, otherwise: @ the end of SH1, it concludes with the fact that Harry actually died in the car crash which stranded them in SH1, and the whole game is Cheryl's imagination of her father trying to find her.Wow, that was long, I'm expecting a tl;dr. T_TIn relation to Origins, I've seen alot of videos on it; it looks really bad for a Silent Hill game, I gotta say.yeah I left MGO when they started making story character playable and better than everyone else, it ruins the gameplay in my opinion. It makes me sad because it was such a fun game before they started doing that :(

@Ferret: Ah, when Raiden/Vamp were introduced? I think that kinda ruined it, they're overpowered, it's just annoying trying to balance it out. Liquid and Mei Ling were good-ish, like, Liquid was cool, maybe a bit overpowered, but Mei Ling was absolutely useless. I have no comment on Johnny/Meryl, they're crap, imo lol.The lag in MGO is what ruins it overall, though. Konami really need to upgrade the servers.so i tack a pic of jexx haxin
