Rant

It's another one of those gooey, crummy weeks. I haven't slept well these past couple of days, and with the arrival of the rainy season (there are only 3 seasons in Thailand, dry, rainy and cool), the double-blow gave me a nasty cold. Now, I've got a headache, runny nose, the coughs, sneezes and a constant drowsiness that is inhibiting my oh-so-important creative drive.

Yay.

The simultaneous release of three impressive games is good an' all, but it doesn't help my condition at all. Normally, they'll inspire me to be more motivated, but not in this condition. Argh! I want to continue with VouSei Advent! …but here I am, barely keeping myself off the bed. It sucks being sick. Even ranting about it everytime doesn't make it better. Meh.

I've managed to do a little for VouSei Advent tho…

VouSei Advent Updates

New Opening Logo. The previous one was a little dull. I decided to reuse an old, little self-sketch and turn it into a distinctive logo. Take a look (click to zoom):

Bug fix - terrain-collision-inconsistency during scrolling stop. This is an extremely rare bug that occurs occassionally. Taken cared of now.

Other Stuff

I had a serious 2-hour talk on Game Design issues with a friend yesterday, over hot coffee. It was nice.

I brought up the case of Unlimited Saga, and why it can be simultaneously viewed as the worst RPG of mankind and as one of the most beautiful creations of game art.
