2245 Dev #1

This is the beginning of a series of extremely boring blogs detailing whatever the crap I am currently working on for my browser game 2245:War In Progress.

Currently the game is mostly in the idea phase, im working out what all the different buildings, ships, and technologies will be and how stuff will eventually interact.

It looks like im going to have to do a super complicated timing system in php to have it calculate resources gathered in between page loads factoring in upgrades to mines and stuff. Thats just one part of the complicated timing mess im getting myself into.

On my forum ive got a topic that details a large amount of the stuff ive come up with so if you want all the details, check it out. If you dont, go there anyway.

Right now in terms of an actual engine, you can view the 500 solar systems and see all the planets in them. Ive been planning out the rest of the engine in my mind =p

Now if I just borrow some of 64digits mind altering code to put in my game

It might seem like that, but I actually am copying the concept of OGame and making it slightly different.

So slightly different that it looks like a copy!
