No, I didn't get a new one. I'm getting a new one for Christmas, a laptop. I'm going to use it for school but I would also like to be able to play future games on it. Since I don't know a whole alot about computer specs I thought someone could help me here.
I made a computer on the Dell site(my parents want me to get a dell), and heres the specs:
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T5500 (1.66GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 667MHz FSB)
XP Media 2005 with Vista upgrade
1GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz, 2 Dimm
80GB hard drive(don't need much more)
256MB ATI MOBILITY™ RADEON® X1400 HyperMemory™With all this it comes to $987, I had to be under $1,000.Will this system last a few years or more? I'm pretty sure my next computer I'm going to have to buy so I'd like this one to last for a while [:P]Other stuff
For some reason I got reminded of an old computer game I had with the first computer I had way back in 1998. It was called Carnivores, you killed dinosaurs for sport. After waiting for hours(the download speed was at 6kbs and it was 80mb) I finally played it. I got eaten by a Velociraptor [:(]Your own random avatar
SiteJust in case someone didn't see it yesterday [;)]Random
Interesting GMC topic
