So my friend from another school IMs me about this program he found for 3d animation. I watched a few videos and was amazed at what it could do, which is why it's being used in professional games and movies such as 300.
But one movie impressed me the most. A movie about rendering 1.8 billion polygons on a quad core, 8gb RAM computer. It was using all 4 processors to render the image, which took a very long time.Link to videoParty
Yesterday I went to my friends birthday party. The entire time we played Guitar Hero 2 and We <3 Katamari. I got there at around 3:30, and played games until 12. Then I was the only one awake so I played Guitar Hero for 3 more hours. Then I passed out in a recliner =/Awesome game though, now I really want it since I was starting to do good on medium difficulty. We woke up at about 10, played more Guitar Hero and ping pong, then watched part of a movie. I had to get home though so I left at 12:30.Guitare Hero awesomenessSite
Not really part of the site actually, but a service. I made a download counter service because I remember Rob wanted his downloads counted and didn't want to wait 2 weeks for his game to go through 64D. It's pretty much done, so if anyone is interested I'll post the link. All you need is the file's url, and it starts counting them. You can also customize the look of the download page with HTML if you don't want to use the default one.Thats pretty much it, I'm gonna go work on some shit.
8GB, that totally owns my 64MB ram…
My mac has 16gb, but I need it for the graphic design and video editing =/
I have 1 gig. I need at least 2. <_<
But my computer outruns some dual-cores. >=DWha?? How can a Mac have 16gb RAM?
I have 512 Mb, and I really need more. I usually find myself running more than 10 things at once, while my RAM and processor are crying for more power…
But tomorrow I'm getting a newpc with double the RAM =DMe too.
I WIN! I HAVE THE WORST RAM! 64MB! WOOT! Er… crap
