What if?

All the people from 64digits made a game studio, all working together… sounds cool to me.

Community Game, take 2.

Edit: If we were to try another game, working as a game studio instead of as a community may help our chances of completing the game.

Studios are broken up into groups that work on a specific part of the game e.g programming, writing, art, and music, have leaders of each group to expedite progress and finalize decisions, and most importantly studios have deadlines.

Maybe v3 should have a 'dev team' feature, where groups of 64D members can form and do some game making or compete against other teams.

Brilliant idea Mush, that sounds excellent.

Do. This. Now.

Like something like sourceforge, or googlecode, but far less convoluted and ugly? I mean useful?

Maybe some day, but for the moment, some of us are still learning or don't have the money to start anything up. However, if somehow I get enough money to start a company, I'm posting job openings in my blog.

Driven by laziness.

There would be a lot of head bumping in the Designers corner, we can't agree on anything.

We could assign roles though, and maybe the admins or the websites top rated programmers would be picked as leads. I'd probably do work in graphics (as we all remember my game Bufo) but people like Dylan I could see doing more programming, and we can even split it from there. And we could post a bunch of game ideas and filter it down to the top 5 or so, and vote from there.

I don't agree that you agree that we don't agree on anything, because you've just agreed.
