Best MMO I've ever played.

So, I"m sure you guys have heard of the impending release of the Elders Scrolls MMO, which I'm really looking forward to.

Well, a few days ago, I started playing a different MMO to keep me busy until the beta of The Elder Scrolls Online comes out. It's called Tera.

I"m sure you guys have seen this before:

Well, that's pretty much true. The armor for women in this game is absolutely ridiculous.

Also, there's this:

Yeah. That's actually a race in the game. (I think rob would have really liked this.)

Anyway, now that those things are out of the way, let's get to the awesome stuff about the game. This game has hands down, the best combat system of any MMO I"ve ever played. This game is just FUN to play. Killing monsters doesn't seem like a chore compared to other MMOs. Enemies don't generally force you to fight them, either.

You can walk right past them if you feel like it.

Also, it's going free to play next month. You can play it now though, by going to the site and registering for a free trial. It'll basically last you until the game goes free next month.

This game is really, really fun. (Hint, hint.)

So, thoughts?

just once I want to play as a disgusting Devito-esque troll in an rpg. I'll name him Wario.

I want the action packed experience of games like Devil May Cry or Skyrim with built in economies and huge simultaneous userbases.

I was hoping that they would be moving in that direction with Elder Scrolls Online - but it seems to be just another pretty money printer.

The Old Republic was supposed to be cool…

I really hope they do fully voiced dialogue in The Elder Scrolls Online, but that might be expecting to much.

Even if The Old Republic did it pretty spot on.

Why has no one posted the puri/kilin picture yet? I miss Rob already. :(

It gets better when you hit 50.

What class, by the way?

I'm a sorcerer. Everything seems to be group monsters now.

Whatever you do, don't take sorcerer lessons from Purianite. He doesn't know how to use traps, kite, or even watch his aggro.

I have no hints for you either as I main a warrior. So good luck to you, though sorcerers are supposed to be pretty good at both single-target and AoE.

Also, I lied about it getting better at 50. That's pretty much when most melee start to get whipped by single mobs.

I heard rumors that they're adding a new planet. I may jump back in if it's any good. I already completed the Sith Inquisitor storyline and the Sith Assassin story line. May go back to do the Mandalorian Bounty Hunter line and maybe even a Jedi…You can have up to 6 characters for free, I think. Pretty good considering you had to pay for accounts back in the day.

Just a while ago, I beat my first group monster. It was freaking amazing! This game seriously has amazing combat. Even compared to many of the single player games I've played.

Regarding SWTOR, I really want to progress in the storyline, but that game has some issues I just can't get over. The horrible limits on free users being one of them. Getting around is a complete pain if you're a free member.

Another thing I hate about the game is the horrible camera smoothing that you can't seem to disable. If you don't know what I'm talking about, then go into Minecraft, load up a world, and move your mouse around. Then press F8 and move your mouse around again. That's what I'm talking about.

That said, I really, really love quest/ dialogue system. It's the best I've ever seen in an MMO, and I really hope TES Online does it at least as good.
