Is anyone interested in anything like this? 1.2 looks like it's going to be an incredibly huge update to the game, and I think it'd be awesome if we had a marathon like we do with Minecraft.New characters, fresh world. What do you guys think?

Pre order (Pre Purchase) Starbound Here.(Only 15 dollars!)
I would definitely participate in either a Terraria or Starbound marathon (assuming I can afford Starbound).
Aw man starbound is gonna be amazing, I actually participated in a starbound cosplay and was won of the winners.
A terraria marathon would be pretty cool. The Terraria server is still active on 64Digits (though probably down after some server restart a while ago), but if I can get that back up again, 64Digits will be hosting the 1.2 marathon.
Also, Starbound does look cool and I'll very likely play it.I'd join in on a Terraria marathon. And try to be there from the start this time.
And Starbound does look quite good. Won't be able to afford it though (I'm being cautiously pessimistic).Short Blog is Short.
I'm up for a light sprall into the Fun doings of Terraira. A Marathon, not so much. That said, I might not stick around for the entire event.Put me down as a maybe.Well, if you guys are able to I would recommend pre-purchasing it now for 15 dollars.
I'll wait for the Steam Sale Version.
$7.99 or less for the WINGood news, everyone. The 64Digits Terraria server is functional again. The bad news is that I seem to have lost the old world.
LAR, if you or someone else wants to host the Terraria event, I'll go ahead and give you/them admin powers. While it's ultimately up to you how the event runs, I want to keep it as vanilla as possible, only using admin powers for region locking, kicking, and general server operations. Anything like spawning mobs, healing, item giving, and such would probably be best left for later, or for non-progression purposes.
