I think I'm going to buy one, since my current PS3 is not backwards compatible.
Actually, I don't just think I'm going to buy one. I'm pretty committed to it when I get paid on the 15th, considering I just boughtPlayStation 2

Ratchet & Clank if you like action/adventure. Kingdom Hearts since you like RPGs.
I spent a large portion of my childhood on the first four Tony Hawk games. And Jak II.
Jak & Daxter series is good for action/adventure too. Same with Sly Cooper. <3 Sly
Silent Hill 4, since everyone mentioned Jak and Ratchet & Clank.
I doubt GT5 is coming to PS2? I may be wrong though, please let me know if it is!
Get some PS1 classics - Final Fantasy 7 and Ridge Racer Revolution are the two games I kept from my PS1 before I gave it to my friend. You may like Syphon Filter 1 + 2 (PS1) and Red Faction 1 + 2 (PS2). Grandia is another good RPG.Oh, and Xeno Gears!
For PS1: Final Fantasy VII, VIII, IX, and Tactics; Crash Bash; Bushido Blade 2;
For PS2: MGS series, .hack series, xenosaga series, disgaea series, zone of the enders (the story sucks but the game is fun), and lots of stuff.No, he said he has a PS3 so I suggested that he waits for GT5. And I think all those PS1 classics are on the playstation store now (Grandia is coming out soon)
Zone of the Enders is AWESOME.I might get one of the backwards compatible 60GB PS3s some time soon. What I don't get is all the people selling them on eBay because theyve bought a PS3 slim instead. WTF, its virtually the same. You want more HDD, buy an external one.
