Yesterday was my first day using my iPod Touch, so I figured I'd share my initial impressions of the device.
I'll start with iTunes. I've used iTunes before, but it's been over a year. When I first tried iTunes on the PC many years ago, I hated it. Super sluggish. On OS X though, I love iTunes. It feels much snappier, performance-wise. Well I'm back to using it on Windows this time. And it's still somewhat sluggish. But on a positive note, it is more feature-rich than the Zune software. Now onto the iPod itself. Due to its larger size, I've been having some mild difficulties in trying to use it single-handed like I did with my Zune HD. Slowly I'm getting used to it.An area where the iPod has definitely disappointed me is that the Photos app doesn't support subfolders. So all my manga nicely organized into subfolders by series, volume, and chapter does me no good when synching it to the iPod. I'm going to have to convert 'em to PDFs and view them in iBooks if I want to enjoy any semblance of organization in that area. The display is everything I'd hoped it would be. I can read manga clearly without having to do any zooming/scrolling.First day with iPod Touch

oh, and the price for all its features is cheap for the lowest space on it, but otherwise gets too pricy on the higher spaces. But I guess thats their plan, along with the chineese labor abuse. :/
