I just got Pokémon ruby on an emulator for my pc :D I’m nerdgasming right now. Im surprised I didn’t do this earlier.
Its brining back soo many great memories, and it got me thinking, why do hardly any new games have as good an atmosphere as the old ones like this? There was a certain charm about it which is absent in most “newâ€? games. I dunno, maybe its just because of the memories associated with it, but I can definitely remember having had more fun playing that game than possibly any other game I have played, with the possible exception of half life 2 and its episodes.
I borrowed my brother's Pearl a few days ago and it's been great, I've sunk 18 hours in it already.
the ds ones aren't as good as the others, get ruby or sapphire. NOW!

Been playing Pokemon White recently, fun up until the elite four… now my squad is massively under-leveled and levelling up is painfully slow and repetitive, can't be bothered to do it right now… But white/black is a massive improvement over the other ds ones.
Can I get a hell yeah?
