Edit: Final version: http://soundcloud.com/mordi-1/mordi-the-great-bath
Spent a whole day doing nothing. Got an idea for a remix a few hours before bedtime. Stayed up most of the night working on it. Got about half an hour of sleep. Why do seemingly good ideas come at such late hours?Gonna crash hard when I get home. The remix (wip):The Great Bath.mp3Edit: Added improved versionIt's supposed to sound like pirate-music.The original:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJ3UCmSFhocFrom a classic amiga game. Turrican 2. I never played it, but the soundtrack is awesome.
I'll skip commenting on the song - because it would be unoriginal and I think people should stop praising your awesome skills.
Though I still want to know where you are getting your soundfonts from, and specifically the guitar.Well, this is the first I have heard of your awesome skills. And goddamn that was really fucking good. That is all.
Just listening to your Donkey Kong Country remixes now. So all of it is made electronically? There's no real guitars or instruments in your songs?Your music would be amazing in a cool isometric pirate game. …. i can see it now! ….
Thanks, duders.
duckman / Kilin: Nothing is recorded live, unfortunately. Here's pack of most of the soundfonts I use:http://mordi.ziphoid.com/mordi.ziphoid.com/data/stuff/Mordis%20Soundfonts.zipThe acoustic guitars are the ones called "Ibanez acoustic". The lead guitar is "Stratocaster". The choirs are "Oohs".Ibanez? I had that for the longest time. How could I not replicate that sound?
Then again, I suck at tweaking. This was great. Was playing it while playing Minecraft with the Pirate language pack installed.
Also, your link doesn't want to work.Actually, duckman, in some tunes I had a Frenchman named gibs record some guitar.
A Frenchman! What were you thinking?!
You'll destroy us all!
