Worms! and Music

Posted by Mordi on Oct. 28, 2006, 2:22 p.m.

Hi.

PART 1

I am posting this blog because i need help.

I am making a game wich has been readied for online coding. However, i dont have any clue as to how to do online coding, and i dont wish to learn it anytime soon. That's why i posted this. I am under the impression that lots of you know online coding? So in short; I want you to do online coding for my game, "Worms!".

Topic.

Please play it, and see if you'll change your mind. As i said, its ready for online coding straight away, so you could start whenever possible, if you agree to this.

I have asked several people before, and most of them have agreed to do it, but eventually ended up not finishing it at all. One of them just dissappeared. The other one said he quit GM. The third one left GMC, and the last one, said he just didnt have the time to do it. The first one, who dissappeared, started on it about a year ago, so ive been looking for people to do it since then.

I would like for it to have server listings, instead of people having to enter IP addresses.

Please answer to this message, even if you dont want to do this.

- Martin. :)

PART 2

I want to know what music you 64-people listen to. I want to know if there are any bands or songs that are like the ones i post below. If not, then take this as a reccommendations list:

- Jimmy Eat World - Kill, 23, Futures, Just Tonight, Pain, etc.

- Backyard Babies - Pigs for swine, Earn the Crown, Everybody Ready.

- Bullet For My Valentine - All these things, Hand of Blood,

- Moments In Grace - Broken Promises, My Dying Day.

- CkY - (All of them) especially As the Tables Turn.

You should get those above^.

- Martin.

Jimmy Eat World are pretty cool. I personally like acoustic music. Have a lisen to some of this guys music:

Newton Faulkner

I think his songs are quite good.

I also like a band called sublime, they rock too! But I don't have any links for them, sorry!

As for finding someone to do the online programming for your game, good luck hehe.

I listen to all forms of metal (and some trance, etc) If you want to see the bandlist of all in my iTunes library, click here. There are a few duplicates, and I have at least one band for each letter of the alphabet.

Learning Online isn't too hard, I've been trying to think of a good way it do it without a server, or without using too much server power.

Oh, and I like classic rock:

Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Santana, The Who, Zz Top…

Any rock at all. Classic, punk, sometimes popish, any kind of metal (thanks to melee). Right now I'm listening to Boston but about ten minutes ago I was listening to Bad Religion, then before that, In Flames.

Radiohead, the White Stripes, Pink Floyd, Clinic…

I basically like experimental music and good old-fashioned Rock.

Interesting. I knew Melee likes CoB and metal, based on his avatar here and on GMC, but trance?

Im also surprised no-one has said the word "emo" here. Yet.

How about the online coding, anyone?

melee-master 18 years ago

Yeah, trance rules. Especially goa and psytrance. Astral Projection is my favourite trance artist.

I'm probally the only person on 64digits that listens to rap and R&B.

But not the mainstream preppy fag shit :)
