[mush] ISO GAME!

Posted by Mush on July 10, 2007, 6:27 p.m.

Here's a screenie of my iso game I'm making:

ABOUT:

In the game, you play as Chef Pierre, a new chef starting up a restaurant called Pierre's Cafe. The goal of the game is to build up your business into a popular restaurant.

You start with a sum of money that you will use to buy low-end appliances that will help your get your business up and running.

After you buy the appliances and tools you need, you will start getting customers who will order dishes off of your menu. You then need to make the dish they requested with ingredients you have bought at the beginning of the day.

As you are making their food, you will receive 'skill points'. The fewer mistakes you make (ie: burining something) the more skill points you get. You then use the skill points to upgrade an appliance or put more gormet (and expensive) items on your menu.

After the customers finish their meal, you receive money. The more accurate you follow the recipe of the dish they ordered, the more they like the dish, and the bigger tip you get. In turn, you use the money to buy the ingredients you need, buy higher-end appliances (after you have upgraded them), and various other things.

The better the food you make, the more popular your restaurant is, and the more money you get!

What should this game be called?

1. Pierre's Cafe

2. Bon Appetit

3. [Suggest Title Here]

Go on with Pierre's Café. I love it.

This project looks more than interesting (and that's a lot!). Hope you'll finish this one as the idea is not as overused as others, the skill points sound like a great idea, and the screenshot looks quite good. UltimateSephiroth over and out.
