I'm trying to get better with my pixel art. Thus far, I've learned all the basic techniques such as sel-out, AA, and dithering, but now I've got to learn a bit more about putting them into practice.Here's a couple pieces:
I guess they're alright, but they could certainly be better too. Unfortunately, practice will have to be limited, since I have my freshman final exams coming up and don't really have all the time I need. I'm hoping to get working during Christmas break, the same time I'm hoping to start my new project.Go figure.<3 Omnilith

If you couldn't tell, the first picture is one of my vector arts, not a pixel.Thanks for the comments. I can't see what's so disturbing about my second pixelation, especially since it won me a contest once on GMClans against thernody, oliv, teknogames, n0bel (though he was a better spriter,) and a few other folks. To each their own, I suppose. To be fair, all those people are probably better spriters than I, as they have lots of experience, but I did win that one time…I agree that it could look better, though. I need to learn some techniques for pixeling hair. Ah well.It was a design mission too, Omn. Of which part you cleaned house with, by the way. :P
Yeh, I'm a designer first and a spriter second, I suppose.
