Edinburgh?

I'm going to Edinburgh tomorow!

Just for a few days, but it means I miss NCFC, and only just get back for the release of Metroid!

I haven't really done much on tTEP, but I know what I'm doing next, and it's BORING! I'm rewriting the way I decide how to shoot, and those of you who've looked at my engine will know my current one is crap, so it'll take an hour, maybe more, to do. Not looking forward to it.

The new forums seem to be dying down, now, fewer and fewer new posts, untill it becomes as the old one? Hopefully not, but I can see it going down that path, which is a pity.

Hmm, anyone tried the new version of ubuntu linux yet? Non-GM compatability with WINE is the only thing holding me back, are there any regular emulators out there that support it? I'm getting sick of constant slowdown, lagging, and crashing, so it's either migrate to UL, or get a new comp, with vista.

Pro-Linux: It be free

Pro-Vista: It be the leading OS, so you are far more likely to get things supported by it.

I'd partition them, if I did, but as I only really use my computer for surfing the net, graphics, and GM (i'm more of a console gamer), rebooting every time seems worthless, especially as I'll loose google desktop. Does linux have an equivilent, as in, the search functions, and gadgets?

Hmm, more than enough questions for now;

~Phazie, signing off.
