We can have them.

This is sparked by rambofoxes blog, which I will paraphrase here: I can't run vista, I've not used vista for any long period of time, and all my information comes from people who also haven't used it, but you should all agree with me and dislike vista.

Now, I love my Vista OS, it does everything I need, and is far prettier than XP. It has no real drawbacks to using it, provided you're running a PC that can take it.

People complained XP had too high specs after 2000, too, you know, there's even an XP-transformation pack, to give your 2000 the looks of XP (:D)

I will not, however, force it down someone's throat. Some people like XP, they like the Luna style, they want their PC to run as fast as possible without going so far back nothing supports it, so they run good old XP. What I CAN'T stand, however, is people shoving their opinion into my head, I don't give a damn, ok? Neither does anyone else.

I, personally, think Vista is one heck of a step forward. It's faster than XP with window management, thanks to the new 3D-accelerated graphics card driven desktop window manager, it's animations and graphical styles give a sense of simplicity and softness to the windows. But if you prefer XP, that's allright.

Some people may remember my 'philosophy week', I think someone put it, where I realised it doesn't actually make any difference to me what people have on their PCs. Some people use internet explorer, I can't figure out why, but I won't shove my love of firefox up your nose.

Some people love Linux, me included, but it's not something I can run, because it's a silly and hates me. The new edition of Ubuntu works fine with my networking card, and both the GNOME and KDE4 editions look, feel, and work great, but the kernel doesn't like my computer (if anyone knows why, do tell), but that's irrelevant.

What I'm saying is, we at 64D have very little censorship, often to our own detriment (decompiler thing shook the site a tad…), so let's not go mad, else I'll start being a windows 3.1 fanboy, and yelling at everyone for using shitty OS'.

I have the Luna theme turned off on my computer, speeding up my computer's response time a tad bit.

I never liked the whole Fischer-Price look. OK, at first I was like "Finally, color in this grey and boring capitalist society!" and then it got boring.

And Windows 2000 got criticised for the high system specs too. Just like 98. And 95. And Mac OS X. Tough OS X was probably the worst case.

XD, lower than 1280, like that happens.

Not bad, I like it. Not quite aero, but not bad.

I recommend desktop sidebar, it's better than vista sidebar anyway, and the XsX alpha blended cursors :D

This point is something people must understand before judging Vista (That being said, there is a problem with software getting slower faster than hardware is getting faster)
