So a while ago I was making that sprite sheet Idea thing. Now I said (I think) that I was going to finish that game. And I'm going to finish it. But not now. Yeah, so this is the first time I've decided I'm going to put a project on hold that I decided I was going to finish. I feel so bad for it T.T
So why am I putting this project on hold? Well because long story short, there's a reason I really have to work on this project and get it done. I'm basically making this into a full game: http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-28/?action=preview&uid=12069I honestly didn't think that when I finished that game that I'd work on it again. But yeah, all my time is now basically going to develop this game. I also got permission from my parents so that I could work on it basically everyday of the week.So why am I finally revealing this when I could've just not posted till I was done? Well, I don't visit very many sites and the only development one I visit is 64D. So I really had no where to get feed back on my game. Also, blog posts on indieDB need some serious content compared to here, so it's not so easy to have a blog post to just discuss or show off things :SOh yeah, the game's name is now called "Reign & Rule". Thanks for reading, actual blog post on the game I'll write soon ^^
Thanks, yeah I so wish this was multiplayer. But I don't think its worth the work to make this multiplayer, and then have to continue to make it as a multiplayer game. It would really bog down development. I messed around with local multiplayer a bit if that's any encouragement :P Also, tutorial is on to-do list for sure.
If you think that screen shot looks good, wait till you see it in motion. (also, the enitre game is made in the 2d version of game maker, no 3d functions involved)
I actually submitted it to 64digits, just waiting for a mod to accept it :P So you'll get to play it soon enough.
That teaser photo is one of the most tempting I've seen. I know nothing about this game and I want to play.
