Fashion, Baby!

So here's the deal: the uniform for my job is just a white shirt and an apron. My shirts get old and dirty so I go through a lot of them. I decided instead of throwing them away I would draw on them for fun, which made for a good activity to do while podcast listening.

The first one turned out quite well:

Because of how well it turned out, I decided to buy some nice fabric markers that wouldn't fade as quickly when washed (up to this point I had just been using a sharpie), and buy some fresh shirts to work on. So since then I've been really into creating my own psychedelic t-shirt designs.

As well as doing other stuff like drawing on my old shoes.

I'm looking to get a good screen-printing set up so that I can produce this stuff in bulk and print onto all kinds of fabric.

In other news, I began selling prints of my drawing on Society6 (as suggested by someone on the IRC, can't remember who but thanks anyway).

I'm also working on papercutting/paper art at the moment, which I'll post here soon.

I had exactly the same experience as Cyrus. Go design a bra and then pose with it!

Your shirts look great. The octopus one is the only one I don't really like because it feels too "structured" and simple to your other stuff. I love the combination of chaos and order.

You need to were these whenever you leave the house, so when people ask about where you bought them you can be like I FUCKING MADE IT

I already do that Toast. I'm the goddamn life of the party.

These are super sick. Not really a fan of the tentacle dude, but the patterned ones are pretty rad. I've been getting into drawing with Micron pens lately, so I think I'm gonna take a shot at something like this.

Start a new clothing line under the name SMP. Make a website to start selling people unique shirts for $40 plus shipping each. Then, Go on shark tank, claim your 15 minutes of fame, and get funded by mark cuban who wants to invest only because other people say its cool.

and smp apparently it stands for symmetric multiprocessing.. though I'm pretty sure that's not why you chose the username

Actually Alert Games, there's already a clothing brand named SMP, and it happens to stand for "Sex Money Power". So there's that. SMP is an old username anyway which I ought to change.

I always thought SMP was a gangster name. Now we know why.

these look great, I would definitely buy one. Looks like a fun form of expression. I would try it myself, but I can't stand the smell of sharpies lol.

I'm looking to get a screen printer too and print my own designs for stuff. Honestly, as silly as it sounds, I mostly just want to be able to think of an idea for a shirt, print it, and wear it more than making money off of it. :P
