The above is an avatar of The Illusionist, one of the many playable classes in my new platform rpg project, The Macabre.

In the game world of The Macabre, The Illusionist is mental patient #0914 in an asylum complex. Age 14 and an orphan, he has a history of nightmares, sleepwalking, hallucinations and cannibalistic tendancies. After a lifetime of being exposed to these hallucinations, he is now performing the horrific talent of being able to project these hallucinations for others to see, manipulating these illusions and, in essence, using them as a supernatural force to aid him in his escape. Due to this macabre talent, he is able to "cast spells" that inflict pain and fear to anything with the mental capacity to feel such emotions. Most uncanny is his ability to kill with this ability.

I've only just started making the game (mostly just sprites for the game), but I already have around a dozen spells and abilities for The Illusionist class planned out on paper.
