Starcraft II Zerg & other stuff

Lets get the boring bits out of the way first.

Did a bunch of pixels for my game project The Macabre such as this simple enemy.

But most of the work done on the project is on paper, as in sketches, concepts and ideas. I might think about getting pictures of those on here too someday.

But enough of that, lets see what we're really here about.

The new Starcraft II Zerg Cinematic + Gameplay video

The full high res download to the video

I've always been a lifelong player of Zerg, and that video just made my day.

Now stop reading what I'm typing, let the trailer do the talking.

I think the sprite is pretty good at the moment, but the lighting is inconsistent in certain areas (ie. His right arm).

Right arm as in, his right arm? or the arm on the right side of the sprite

Cool design, good in comparison to the other crap I see around here. The lighting is off I agree… cause you ctrl+C-ctrl+V'd the limbs hah

Spriting's fun… heh

Urrghhh… the blades for the swords are awful. They look like inflatable blades. You need to work on the shading for them, but other than that, the sprite looks really good.

Their name is Legion, for they are many.

@ ESA: yeah i should refrain from doing pillow shading on the swords, thanks for the tip

@ Juju: what's with the hippy-psycho-bible stuff?
