<b>Staff Picks</b>

Posted by Requiem on Jan. 5, 2006, 3:50 p.m.

Yeah, I don't have access to the news page, so I guess I have to get all bloggy with it.

Anyway, if you visit the Games page, you'll see that I actually managed to add a 'feature', the Staff Pick. Basically, we'll ocasionally drop a link to a good game there, once in a while.

And on the other hand, if you have "enough attention span" to scroll to the bottom of a page, you'll see that firestormx made the site ad-tacular.

Now, which addition thingy is better? *rolls eyes*

<s><i>Edit:</i> I also changed the screenshot buttons in the game viewer from this:

to thumbnails.</s> Looks like the higher-er ups changed them back.

Not sure which is better. Any thoughts?

Also, for the ads:

"Canadonian wanted to see if the image ads would get more attention, but they ended up just plain sucking, so now they're text-based.

Hopefuly they'll make some money, and allow us to feed our children. =)

So if you're ever browsing the site, looking for things to do, you should refresh the page until you find an interesting ad to click."

Woot, text ads.

Now they match the subdued look of the site.

Yeah, once again, go complain to firestorm, who apparantly doesn't download the newest version of the scripts before he uploads <b>his</b> edits… <_<

Downloading uses up bandwidth.

Bandwidth costs money. :(

Click the ads a couple hundred times, and I might be able to afford to download the edited scripts beforehand.
