I was at the gym today working with a personal trainer for the first time. Things were good. I put in a lot of effort and was doing the first exercises just fine. I was getting tired real fast because it's been A LOOOONG TIME since I've done any REAL activity. Anyways thirty minutes into it, I started getting a burning feeling in my stomach area.
"I'm feeling nauseous…""Really what did you have for breakfast today?"I thought for a while before realizing that I actually hadn't eaten today."I didn't eat.""Oh that's not good. You gotta eat a good breakfast everyday…"I started to take steps backwards to the garbage can in the corner of the room as he kept lecturing about healthy eating. I didn't want to be rude but the more he talked, the more nauseous I became. He was following me the whole time."Do you want me to get you something to eat?"I held my hand up and pointed as to say "Gimme a sec," turned my head to the can and vomited a lovely dark pink stream into the garbage. That shut him up. I felt dizzy and couldn't talk for a while."…Yeah, I'm gonna get you something to eat."He came back three minutes later with a Snickers bar for me but I couldn't eat it. So since I moved, I've done nothing great with my time. I spend my days cleaning up my apartment and playing games. I've lived away from home for a total of seven and a half months and in that short time, I've gained a significant amount of weight, and it's quite embarrassing. To fix this, I've gotten a membership at the Alaska Club. It's a 50 minute walk from my building and I go often. My goals are to lose weight (obviously) and actually gain some muscle tone. I wanna get back to my "when I first signed up at 64digits" weight of 135lbs. I know, what a fatty huh? It's better than what I'm at now.I threw up at approx. 10:30am Alaska time. It is now 4:18pm and I've yet to feel hungry so I haven't eaten. I'll get to it eventually. HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU ALL SOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!
Just for the record, not eating doesn't really help your body burn fat. When you do eventually eat, your body's metabolism doesn't kick into action like it should.
I know it's much more complicated than that, but even if you're not hungry, you should eat a little snack to keep the metabolism going.I've gained a shit load of weight too. :(@ Fsx : I'm well aware of that. I have no problem eating seeing as I've done well with gaining weight. But even after getting sick, I just wasn't hungry. Maybe I was embarrassed or something. It's 5:33pm and I've just had dinner. I'm not intentionally avoiding eating I just got sick today because it's been forever since I've worked out.

Ronnica: Oh lordy, I hope you're not pregnant.When I started working out, I noticed a rapid increase in overall productivity (I worked on phobos endlessly). But now that I haven't worked out in 11 months or so… yea not so much.
Calories out isn't just used by being active. You have to metabolize everything (for example ephedrine is metabolized into methamphetamine <3), and your cells are constantly metabolizing things to keep themselves alive.
I don't know if you were disagreeing with me or not, but I'm drunk, SO I'MMA START A FIGHT.Working out gives you lots of energy and definitely makes you more productive.That's why I only went a few times over my year-long gym membership. It was non-condusive to my fuck-everything,-I'm-gonna-sit-at-home-lifestyle.Kilin, if women want to weight 45 pounds, let them. They will eventually die, and women with a real survival instinct will be all that are left. Ronnica is smart enough not to be like that though. =)
