This is a classic example of an optical illusion, in which you allegedly can trick your brain into shifting the woman from rotating clockwise to counterclockwise back to clockwise. Problem is, I can't do it. Anyone care to enlighten me on what the trick is? I feel like the esteemed 64Digits can assist me with this plight. Also, lol it shows her nipples.
How did you approach the problem of coming up with those formulas, out of curiosity?
Wrote out the numeric spiral and then looked for simple patterns beneath the levels of apparent complexity. There's a saying, "Any technology sufficiently advanced is indistinguishable from magic." I always feel there is a similarity to mathematics insofar that "Any pattern sufficiently complex is indistinguishable from randomness."
Truth be told, I tried to duplicate your work, wrote out the spiral and detailed the numbers on the x and y axis and tried to create a formula, but I guess I'm not talented enough to create a formula like that.
Damn, Ross, don't be so hard on yourself.
I'm sure there are things you excel at, too.I'm aware, I just really wish I were more prolific in mathematics.
lets just all get a blind fold and sit in a circle and jerk each other off.
@rufus: Why bother with the blindfolds? We're all just going to peek anyway.
