I just now checked the fps of my isometric engine. My latest incarnation attempts to calculate move ranges of a hypothetical character in a tactical RPG. I thought it was moving fairly slowly, so I added a line in the draw code to draw the fps, and it started at 30. Then I pushed a button.
The fps went to 2.It stayed there.IT WAS AT 2!2 FRAMES PER SECOND!WHAT THE FUCK?!I realize now that making this work in a practical manner will be hard. Made more difficult by my 20 hours of classes. I know why it's so damn slow, I have a lot of for loops and array functions in the step event. Those should be in the button events. I should also move some of my constant variables into the constants section so I can change them without going back through every single object's create event. But I did get an 81 on my calc III test… 81 of 82!By the way, how do I get the /b-tards to raid my blog? I want my hits to go up. Hell, if I post the link so that I get recruitment credit for everyone of the /b-tards, I'd be in great shape!NOTE: If you happen to see a picture of a fat man in red women's underwear in a very messy house with the word "MEME" written in the top right hand corner, that is a friend of my brothers. I'm trying to force this meme up 4chan's ass, but it's pissing in an ocean of piss.

Silly Shork, you have to be gentle with GM when it comes to lag
Maybe you should use frame skipping
Lets see the said picture, and don't force memes, thats gay <_<, almost as gay as WHEN I WAS….
Perhaps you should go to serprex for speed/efficiency advice?
Ya,I can have GM run with 1745objects at 32FPS with 1600Mhz
F1ak3r? Do you have any idea of what you're talking about?
Oh, and shork, play me in starcraft >=(HAHA, you = B& !!!
