So, I found time today to finish the level editor before I leave for my vacation. It still lags if you have over 400 blocks. But the level test works pretty much perfectly.
This beta features:-Editing-Testing/Playing-Saving & Loading-Loading Coloraze One LevelsRight click or press any key to open menu.(This should be in the queue soon.)*updated at 6:40 am my time*
sk8's problem of using escape is fixed - levels no longer load or save if '' is returned-Download from 64Digits--Play at YoYoGames-
Awesome, once I get home and in the internet I'll download
Wow dude, this is fun, having a lot of fun with it. Simple yet very effective. Would get an 9/10 from me.
Pretty cool, but what do different colors do anyway?
nighthawk: play the first coloraze and play around, you can find it in my games.
Bah, make esc open the menu until you press esc again. If you hold esc it fucks up. It fucked up my epic saved map >__>
sorry sk8, don't use escape for right now, I'll change the use of escape later, thanks for bringing that up.
No problem. Now I want to blantly rip it off.
If you could do one thing that would make me happier, it would be mostly to increase the range of activation by 24 on each side, at least for blocks. I have some really hard times with trying to work on my map with those.
By the way, you can place more than one character, which offers cool new stradegys :D(Example Level)http://64digits.com/users/Potatoe/It_takes_Two_to_Tango.zipEDIT: Mistake in the level. Delete the TOP red player, then replace him.the movement is kinda sluggish in my opinion. but i like the idea of multiple players… *thinks*
Potatoe, (first, why potatoe?) can you give an example of where the activation problems occurs, I really need the space to be inactive for large levels.
