Coloraze Flash Finished!

Posted by Siert on Aug. 10, 2011, 9:23 p.m.

I'm honestly not sure how many of the current 64Digits community even remember Coloraze. But I've finished my much upgraded flash version! As of now I'm impatiently waiting to see if anybody wants to sponsor it, so I can't actually share the game with any of you (unless you have a developer account on FlashGameLicense, in which you can try it out here). But I can share some screenshots which are here.

Besides that I have a friend who knows somebody else that is interested in making some type of start-up (which I can't reveal details about) that involves web programming and phone apps. So I'll be ready a bunch of textbooks in the next couple months. And even if this business idea fails, I'll be left with a pile of experience a great resume.

Otherwise my summer ends in just 20 days and another whole school year begins. So to anyone else in the same situation, I wish you luck!

Kickass, I loved making Coloraze levels.

You should totally include my masterpiece of a level: Extreme Insanity :>

Link fixed, thanks! As for your level, I didn't want to include old level because of any slight possible legal issues… but once it's released you can make it again, and this time share it through a better system!

Oh god I loved Coloraze.

Now I'm sad that I can't play it!

EDIT: Is there bunny hopping?

@Kenon, no there is no bunny hopping, I looked into it, but there wasn't any way to easily replicate it without adding a lot of unnecessary collision checks every loop.

@Nighthawk, no your map is not in the game, all of the levels are original, but I encourage you to create and share your own levels.

One thing I want to add is that this version of Coloraze also you to upload anywhere from 1 to 6 levels at a time, and all of them are included in the same level pack!
