Seriously, wow. I never thought that would happen. I just thought;
"Oh hey, I'll go have a look at 64 digits. Havn't been on there in a year o… HOLY SHIT!"In all seriousness though, it looks nice. Very nice. I like it. No forums though? I used to enjoy spamming and trolling them.Anyway, Just thought I'd pop by and take a gander at everything, for those of you that remember me and probably hate me. Havn't touched Game Maker in years. Probably never will either, what with me (hopefully) going to to university and studying game programming. Oh you guys have a MC server? Awesome.…I really don't know what to say. Just felt like I had to say something about V3.Yeah, bye.EDIT: I'm and old bean!? Haha, oh wow.
lol i had the same reaction. I'm in school for engineering and i use gamemaker more than any other language, you'll get some classes where you have to code a program for the final exam and the prof will allow you to use any language…just make sure you say you are using "a C-like OOP structured language called GML" - blows the prof and students out of the water ever time ;)
Gamemaker still has a big future, I can taste it lol i just dont like the direction yoyo is taking it IMHO. you can accomplish a lot more in GM that you think, good for prototyping some of the complicated projects you'll do in Uni!@Carlos:
I'm unsure if there is a part of the course that allows you to use any language you want. I have a friend already there and he hasn't said anything like that. Still, would be neat if there was.There's a law that whenever 64d updates versions the forums disappear.
Speaking of the MC server I haven't been whitelisted.
