<EDIT>
Just thought I'd go ahead and mention that I was able to change my avvy. Didn't go into much exploration into what else you could mess with, but thought some people might like the heads-up.</EDIT>Seriously, donuts rock. I just ate about 8-10 of them. Anyway, on to blog.So in my last blog I talked about my ACT experience. I was just a bit too tired to really give a crap. The ACT is important because if I score high enough, I can get a scholarship that will basically pay my college tuition. If that's the case? Then I get a car! :DSo yeah, good ACT score = car. I'll find out how I did in 5-8 weeks with possible delay. Oh boy.I've been really busy for some odd reason lately. Hardly had time to do anything of interest. Today I had a free day and no access to internet (due to a wicked storm) so I worked on a few different things. I started coding my terrain engine again from scratch, as well as developing a (soon to be) robust terrain creator as I go. The creator has so far been more fun to make than the actual engine :pOne thing I notice is that, as I code, my scripts are more streamlined and compact than what I can remember of my previous engine. Good example is the script I use to load a terrain file. I remember it being quite a few lines long before. Now I think it's only around 5-6. Coded a small encrypter/decrypter that I plan on expanding. I also did a bit of coding in Java and C++ (mostly C++). Just random projects to try some stuff out and make sure I remember what little I've already learned. For something a bit more interesting, I was out driving today and it started pouring the rain so hard I could barely see. Some idiot just about slammed into me head on cause he was in my lane… >_> Had to swerve off the road and almost hit a wall.Yay for near death experiences!!! I'm pretty sure more happened today, but I can't remember any of it.Until next time.
