Regarding Lunacy Star, which has failed utterly to catch on with the members of that forum, despite two demos and repeated bumpage

"July 28th.Four months.Four months and not a word.I'm afraid I don't understand why the forum has been entirely silent about this.I can assure that it's had quite the effort put into it.*sighSo much for this!*flips a table*I'm going to half-ass… no, quarter-ass a 3D online zombie shooter RPG and watch it get dozens of replies, now. And when I point to my works of considerably higher quality, you people will still ignore them.Peace!"
I'm just PMSing about them not paying attention to the last everything I've posted there :(
I realize Bullet Hell is a niche, but damn. You also can't deny that if something has zombies in it over there it's thrice as likely to get attention. Also, I was being slightly sarcastic. *sighI try not to be legitimately upset all the time on the internet, so I make it extorted and shit."*flips a table*" n whatnotI really hate to say this, but this is advice coming from experience. In order to make people want to play your game, you have to at least try to make good sprites and effects. It's time-consuming, hard, and not many people like to do it. But this is how the world works. Pull them in with graphics, keep them there with gameplay.
I assure you your problem is (mostly) a graphical one, and can be fixed with a little hard work. The GMC won't show much interest in anything if your post-count is "less than todays decided minimum postcount (1000?)".
But why bother with the GMC when you've got us? =3
