Because I am a studious person, I drew a comic in math class!
There's a substitute teacher today. It's from the Black and White project I've given brief mention before- that metroidvania? That.Even if you did know the characters, it probably still isn't funny, but I'm starved for ideas.Oh, but of course you could read that.Header: "I don't get games that let you freely change armor in battle."First panelLotus Fey lies on the floor quite defeated.Second panelTaizen looks to the side as Sophia Wolfram struts up.Sophia. TAIZEN CHISOU YOU MUST NOW BATTLE METhird panelSophia is flying through the air and is about to punch him in the face.Taizen. Pause.Fourth panelSophia has stopped. Taizen is removing his shirt.Sophia. What are you doing.Taizen. Hold on, I haven't changed out of my fire resist armor.Fifth panelSophia is still stopped, looks annoyed. Taizen is looking at two different shirts he is holding.Taizen. Would you say that your punches are closer to "Smash" attacks, or "Pierce" attacks?
"Smash" attacks.
I was leaning toward "magical," myself.
cool comic.
reminds me of the comics i used to draw when i was around 12. i should upload them sometime, i had 7 or 8 composition books filled with various comics.i actually read one of them recently and it managed to make me smile, so i read through the whole book. :plost a bunch of the books though, i should try to find them.Prepare for a flood of Comicery from Juurian, Taizen, and JID.
:DDid I mention my 200 page comic book yet?
I have one.It's about the apocalypse.upload it. :D
You should bug Umbra :V
He has all the links for it.I would consider doing it myself, were it not so cheesy / low budget / badly arted. He went and scanned in 150 pages of it- up to the fifth chapter.i need to find my 350 page dbz-inspired comic, i have no idea where that one is.
i have the second book of it in my room somewhere. got to about the 100th page, then i never finished it, for some reason.edit: that reminds me that i have a whole bunch of unfinished comics, actually. :(Hmm. Nice comic. Now I have an amusing mental image to think about everytime I play an RPG that allows me to do that (Or Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow).
@JID I hardly ever start entire full-fledged books, so getting as far as I have (especially with the improvements I've made to my art style) is no less than shocking.
My first one was from 2007 and was 35 pages long. But the panels were tiny as shit, so it ended up having over 1,000 of them. (For reference, I'm averaging three to five panels in my new book)That one was about a time-traveling watch the boy genius invents, ends up going to the future. It gets explained to him that two copies of the same person can't exist at once, or the universe explodes- logically that means he's dead. He seeks to avert his death. It's cheesy and has horrible art and I'd rather die than post it.Every other comic after that really failed to get anywhere. One got to page 33 before quitting, and another got to 57.And then I made one about a girl who works for the embodiment of Death as a grim reaper while he plans the Apocalypse. (It's… a little more complicated than that, but I can't give too much away :V )@Mega I have an entire string of RPG parody comics :VWith topics such as selling low-level monster trash to shopkeepers and wearing expensive armor that is made of less material.I'll have to ask Umbra to ring it up sometime.@CyrusHa, thanks.Five years ago it looked more like shapes and scribbles :]
