Yes, as some of you know, Saddam Hussein was executed just over an hour ago by hanging, putting an end to the life of a man who was nothing short of a criminal. Want I want to know is, what do you, fellow 64D'ers, think about this? Do you agreed with the decision to execute him so soon?
I want to make it painfully clear that if I even begin to think that this is causing a flame war, I will immediately destroy this blog. I just want your opinions of this event, not about want someone else said.I personally believe it was for the best. Aside from his outbursts in court and blatant disregard for the judicial system, he was a criminal. No, less than that. He wasn't even fit to be human. That's all.dum vita est, spes est"While there is life, there is hope"
Unfortunatly, hanging Saddam won't fix a damn thing. Those insurgents who still support Saddam will only get angrier, and the insurgents who didn't support Saddam won't care. Whether Saddam deserved it or not, his death isn't helping Iraq.
True, it's just something for the US to call "A Triumph".
Comment 23! =D
Oh, and the fact that he was hung rather than imprisoned, I don't think Bush wanted to spend the money.Right, a rope can be reused, bullets can't.
I'm sure he was hung because it was more or less customary in Iraq.
nah, it's because it causes more pain
They should have burned him. D:
I don't agree with the idea of killing him, after all, he won't suffer much at all. If they wanted to do something really evil to him, they would have put him in a jail cell ,doing force-work, for the rest of his stupid life.
