It's pretty laggy for me. I'm pretty sure it's not my graphics card either. It's probably because of chunk loading and constant map saving. I already miss optimine…
Enderman officially annoy me because they seem to enjoy ripping logs out of trees <_< Plus they don't even seem to drop the blocks they hold, they essentially delete random blocks for no reason that affects the player except by making the world ugly.
Imo the block should appear back wherever they took it from when they are killed/despawned.Kabob, the world is made of giant blocks, how pretty do you want it to be?
Personally I find minecraft quite beautiful at times. It pulls off a sense of scale most games couldn't dream of.
Exactly, but with enderman they will slowly tear down the areas, especially the trees. I always get annoyed by floating trees in multiplayer <_<
The biggest issue though is that they essentially destroy blocks forever which before required player action (or inaction with creepers attacking them). It wont be too big of an issue in single player but multiplayer I'm expecting to see areas get worn down over time.lol, I like how water kills endermen. But I hate how endermen sound like regular zombies.
I love the new lighting engine, except the fact that the closer you get to the light, the less colored the light is..
Also remember that this is a pre-release, so Notch might still make the Endermen a little… Less lame.
Also agree that the lighting in this looks awesome.
