Everybody knows how much I love harping on about competitions…
… so it seems only right that I mention that the biggest 48hr/72hr game jam on the internet is starting on Friday/Saturday.I personally will be taking part again and I was curious if anybody else was going to.This time I think I'll be tackling the more leniant 72hr game jam, rather than the 48hr competition, because I have to go on a somewhat inconvienient ferry trip on the Sunday. It also means I can work in a team, so if anybody wants to, let me know. There's also a rather interesting $1,250 competition hosted on a different site* which is running alongside 'Dare. Although it appears you'll have to get a US citizen to enter for you.So yes. Discuss, don't discuss, or if your name is colseed, +1 everything you see.*Warning: community may contain arseholes
I'm not entering any competition that Toast doesn't host.
Toast for host. 2012 and forever.Kongregate: Full of arseholes (No, it's actually true.)
Need some music for your title? I don't do too bad with a 6Hour composition window time.I think I'll join this ludum dare thingy. Never done it before, but now I've got the time! I'll probably be live streaming working on it as well.
I do have a little bit of time, but im working on my API again ;)
Why the hell not, I'll go for it again. I'll probably take the same approach I did last time, where I made a small open-end world with lots of things to interact/intervene with that can dynamically change the outcome of the game (such as shooting a general before he enters a tank; if you do this, you can enter the tank instead). It was pretty easy to make, I literally designed it on-the-fly. Granted, it didn't do so well; still better than all the unfinished games, though.
I got a little aroused looking at this. Can my game be made in GM though?
Why am I even on this site, I feel like GM is getting really phased out (for good reasons). ._.My only regret is that the last panel isn't a gif.
That was insane and awesome.
But my question still hasnt been answered.
