Okay, I've been working on a game (more info on that coming soon, but note that it's not the 3D RPG I posted about a while back). This is just some concept art for that.
I've been trying to work on my art skills since I haven't drawn much in forever and am quite rusty. These sketches were done of a period of weeks, during which I've improved quite a bit, so the quality varies. Keep that in mind when commenting.Also, I have no art of the main character, because it was all drawn a while ago and sucks too much to post.
LilithA succubus. She uses a whip because… I don't know, it's kinky. I haven't developed her character much yet… :\
CarmillaBased on the book/character of the same name. She's a lesbian vampire who stalks Jade (and thus the party) around. She's also a cleric/white mage, because the idea of a vampire being the holy healer seems funny to me.Okay, so here's the secondary main character:
JadeNot too great, but it's the only sketch of have of her at the moment. She's a normal human who is very interested in things like magic and the occult. (WIP story stuff, probably going to change to some extent) She drags the main character to Transylvania after her favourite newspaper/magazine/whatever reports odd occurrences there. They were… pretty damn right.So, yeah, comments and crit appreciated, especially on the first two (because they're more recent).
Something about the third one's upper body seems off… nice art though. Are you gonna color them?
Cliche characters, cliche names. Some people will hate it, some people will love it. Probably people like you. :P
@dabridge: Thanks. Actually, you're right about the upper body, I had noticed it too after uploading/posting. I've updated it.
I do plan on colouring the later two, but for Jade I want to do a nicer sketch first.@Rez: It's a parody, so that's really my intent. Do you think it's a problem?

Besides the main characters (Casey, a gamer who jumps at the opportunity to be a hero, and Jade, shown above), pretty much every character is generic horror themed. A lot of them are based on mythology (like Lilith), or are public domain (like Carmilla). Hell, the main bad guy is Dracula.
I'm going to be doing a lot of lampshading and poking-fun with the character interactions and story, though.CASTLEVANIA: VANCE OF SORROW
