I haven't made the zombies yet, but I just finished placing all the ammo boxes. There will probably be about 9 zombies and 1 boss (a pumpkin-headed psychopath!)I can't decide on the two projects I have started:
a) Family friendly "adventure?" - Pokemon-style movement where you collect candy and trick-or-treat.B) A 2d game with first person view. You start out punching kids who come to your door to trick-or-treak and then the cops come and lots of stuff happens. :D9 zombies?

They are not. You only have a .38 special revolver (starting with only 6 shots), and it takes 2 headshots (or 5 body shots) to kill a zombie. There are only 4 ammo packs which give you 10 extra rounds each, so total you get a maximum of 46 rounds. The boss needs about 10-20 rounds, and I don't expect people to find all the ammo or use exactly 2 rounds per zombie. The level is pretty small, and you move and aim slowly.
Not to mention, the way I have to make this game makes level design very difficult, so adding too many enemies will lengthen the dev timeAh, a key to horror. Give the player a very limited amount of protection :p
Yep. In fact, there is no health. Zombies just rip out your throat and you're done for.
