i watched some neat movies this week. i'd like to recommend them to yous.

first up, Kick Ass was by far the best superhero movie i've ever seen. it's realistic environment and real-like characters made the story so much more relatable and thrilling. i liked all the characters and the overall expression of the film. acting was done very nicely. for the most part it wasn't too predictable, at least when compared to other superhero films but it did follow a familiar pattern. even still i highly recommend this movie as it's already become a favorite of mine.

next up, Hang Over 2. an insanely awesome movie. one of the funniest movies i've ever seen, it even tops the original. in most cases, i would complain about a movie doing the same thing twice in a row, but in this case, it seem to make the movie even funner. it really didn't disappoint at all.

the last movie i want to recommend is HouseBroken. starring Danny Devito and a few other nobodies, this movie took me by surprise. i wasn't expecting much when i picked it up at a Blockbuster but it really did impress me on every level. it's an overall funny experience, there was only one scene i didn't like. if your into the kinda humor that the HangOver delivers, you'll probably enjoy this one too.

i also recently bought the album Ritual by The Black Dahlia Murder a modern death-metal band. this album is fucking awesome, if you love extreme metal defiantly pick this one up. they're best album yet!

Michael Cera is quite awful, but the movie is still worth watching.

i saw Transformers 3 as well. it was a decent movie, much better than the 2nd i'd say. it was entertaining but not really memorable to me.

They should totally make a prequel with JUST Transformers on Cybertron.

Except that it would suck.

Scott Pilgrim was pretty good; being funny that is. It certainly had nice visuals, but each fight reeaallllly started to drag on. In most cases where the protagonist must tackle numerous foes, something happens in which he doesn't have to fight them all, so that the movie doesn't extend to infinity. I didn't like the idea of Michael Cera playing Scott, seeing as he's a 'meek' actor, whereas in the graphic novels I always saw Scott as a bit more assertive and crazy. I hated the lovey dovey crap between Scott and Ramona, mostly because the girl who played her is such a bad actor. Ramona was the worst character in the movie. I also didn't feel like all of the characters were accurate representations of those from the graphic novels, but whatever.

I've heard friends say how great Transformers 3 is, but these are also people who greatly enjoy Dreamworks films. Critic reviews are also somewhat unfavourable.

Critics tend to not reflect my opinions, and in general I don't listen to them. This may not be the case for everybody, but as for me, I pay no heed.

In short, critics are jerks.

Well, It all depends on which critic you take advice from, so you can expect a decent opinion from a like-minded reviewer.

Yeah, I suppose.

I guess that one kid who talks really fast and reminds me of that one really annoying actor is kinda good. Mostly for entertainment value, though. Scratch that, I forgot how annoying he is.

EDIT: This kid.
