Just one question: Do you think someone should be paid less just because they are younger than everyone else? I'm 15 years old and I do exactly the same thing at my work as the other 20-30 year olds. My job is to move and put together furniture and I get $5.50/hour while everyone else gets $9-11 an hour. Is this bullshit or is it just me?
It is seriously bullcrap. Blasted minimum wages! …Even though I don't work. But still!
Anyways, make sure Ludamad isn't on when you post, or else you'll get your profanity ciriboted. I'm not really sure of the rules for this, though.Oh, ok, I'll try to keep it under control
Thats today for you, the figure you being a kid wont know any better and will except whatever you get, whereas an older man will require and demand a higher pay.
That's bull! Find a different job or complain!
You dont seem to understand a 30 year old man would need the money to survive whereas u already have a home, food, and comforts you dont need to pay for. Although it is unjust, the fact remains.
Maybe true, but that does not mean that age discrimination should be accepted, doesn't the law say something about that?
You have to start at the bottom to get to the top. You can't expect them to pay a 15 year old the same they pay a 30 year old who has been working there for several years. Who do you think they would rather keep? Be happy you got work at 15.
Just to throw this in, I'm 15 and I work with some 20 year old prison convicts (no joke, cool guys though) laying sod and get paid 8 bucks an hour. 11 hours a day, around 3 times a week. Guess it's just which job you manage to snag.Well, I work for my dad's store so…
Plus I'm talking about these 3 new guys he just hired. They get more than I get and I've worked for over a year.Family jobs are nearly always a rip-off.
well, that could make SOME sense. most likely ur dad dosn't pay u as much simply cuz he might pay for some of the other stuff you have like video games or somethin? or do u have to make your own money to get anything that you want?
