It's 64D's, umm…Whatever many years of uptime it's been since creation of it…birthday.
Assume that was a number, and say it is 64D's 8th Birthday on the 22nd (tomorrow for me, but it's already the 22nd for Europe).SO HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND WHATNOT.Yeaaaaah.Also, drunken teamspeak night is rollin', so come join in.I would post some stats like in previous years, but I don't have any right now.Steven, if you want to make a banner for the birthay< DO IT.
Pedobear would approve.
Happy birthday guys!
wow. lot of time has passed. does anyone remember we switched to V2 exactly? we didn't have V1 very long at all in retrospect.
since i'm 20 and i've been on here for 7 years, that would mean i've been a member of 64digits for a third of my life. like a boss.I'll be sure to break the code tomorrow for the lulz
Hmm, we switched to v2 right when I became a mod, so… 7 years ago?
Happy Birfday!
edit: early.I thought v1 was around longer than that. I remember it was Christmas or New Years or something.
I coded v2 in a week, or something. I don't remember. :(Might have been 6 years, actually.
It was either December 2005 or 2006 that v2 launched. I really think it was 2005 though…
Yeah, it was December. 2005 does sound about right, looking back, 'cause I had a g/f at the time. I gave up a day of programming in order to go skiing with her.
It was totally worth it. I got to be awkward around her, and feel inferior to all her friends who weren't awkward. Best of all she would sit beside me on the ski lift, so that was nice. It's not as good a feeling as programming all alone in my dark basement, but it stimulates a different area of the brain, so the novelty was nice.
