Ok hey, first off - my game made it as a runner-up in the YYG competition. Pretty swell, I'm happy. For those who haven't played it, here's a link, because I'm not trying to advertise my game at all:
Ok, now more importantly. I'm going to expand the game a fair bit over the next few months, and along with fixing all the bugs and making everything look nicer I was hoping to add some minigames done in the same hand-drawn style. The minigames would mostly be replications of arcade games: thinking Pacman, the Helicopter Game, etc.Just wondering - what sort of games would be cool? Taking in all suggestions :)
Grats on getting runner up, I'll make sure to try this out soon!
For a second there I sorted screwed up your definition of hand drawn. Theres some really good digital hand drawn games out there… can't quite remember where…
Crayon Physics Deluxe, ^_^.Anyway, I really like that pencil on paper look in that image.Eggs without Legs could be pretty fun
Eggs without Legs would be breakfast
Yum…
It might be funny if there was a pinball minigame where your egg is launched and bounces around a pinball table and you use flippers to keep it from falling.
Or one like the old arcade game 'kickman' where balloons are falling and you have to wheel back and forth and kick the balloons (in this case eggs) back up into the air.Hey actually, they're good ideas! Thanks, glad to have some response :)
