unfortunately i've made very little progress yet.
work has been crazy busy (got a promotion, which has led to a huge list of new things to get up to speed with), and the steam game that I've been working on for the past few months is gearing up for our first early access build.this has all added up to not nearly as much free time as I expected originally, but having said that, I've made some progress with the mob spawning / tower capture system that is the core of the gameplay. it's mostly programmer art so not worth showing yet, but coming along. speaking of art, need to really lock down what I want the game to look like. since I'm hoping to actually build the content for the game myself (in the spirit of the contest), this means that it's going to have to be pretty simple, but still haven't decided on an art style yet. probably do some experiments tonite, see if I can get a base character built or something.anyways, hopefully have more visible progress to show soon ;}
