Yea… i think we all know this by now. It's overrun by noobs and crap. Comments are useless and random.. blogs are about the same. The older members are fading away and the site isn't being run properly
So I'm going to be less active than I have been lately. I post a blog for my game.. asking for suggestions.. and i get gay comments hardly related to it.No offense to the very few of you who actually take this site seriously…10117 hits~GTVG~
Agreed. Not that I'm not a noob or anything… However GM is fairly close to useless. No GREAT games will ever come out of it. I would much rather spend my time on Flash, Blender 3D, XNA, Torque, or whatever! For one, the YYG staff is as useful as this old flip flop by my desk and when you need help, then you're out of luck. And yeah… finding good help on here is as easy as finding the Bermuda Triangle. Sure, everyone is still nice, but it is hard.
you asked for suggestions? I just checked and I don't see that. anyway cpsgames.net is an alternative. At least if your not joking about things in your blog you get decent comments. :D
I only come to 64D for some laughs most of the time.I don't know, I haven't really noticed this. Well, I have sorta, but we're just going through a phase, what with Arcalyth on band camp, PY in France, and Plethicide writing exams. I'm sure the site will be a source of interest and lulz again soon.
@MrNitro: No GREAT games? Look around you, man! Raging Skies, Fedora Spade, Seiklus, Clean Asia!, Jumper, Karoshi, Caveman Craig, Ancient War, ColumnsX, Dominos 2, need I go on?! It's the user, not the program, that determines greatness.@F1ak3r - he means as compared to next-gen I believe.
I think 64Digits started slowly falling apart before I left even. :(
Or at least that was the peak of its cool.I shall refrain from making a V3 comment.
Compared to next gen? Because game with expensive, realistic 3D graphics are somehow automatically better than games with simple 2D graphics? What a snob. Grr, that steams me!
On a blog-related note, you can't blame 64D for your lack of useful comments. Your blog was short, and your request was vague. Have a look at my AYUSSHMUP devlogs. THAT'S how you get useful feedback. Or with demos.lololol…ol
64Digits thinks you suck.
I agree with
meowno one…
