First off, We will talk about the other side. Take GTA for example. Kids, are easily influenced on such matters of the media we have today. Playing GTA may make them want to shoot guns, join gangs, or even pretend they are in the game in real life. All of wich is not okay. Kids should not be playing anything over the rating of teen in the first place. It takes a mature-minded person to relize that the way things are shown in media are not how things really are, wether its a tv show, movie, or video game. Also, there have also been a few nutcases out there that have tried to take gta to life. These people obviously are not in a good mental state, and may have a chemical inbalence. People like this should not be playing games like this. There are many substituts for violence media. For movies, there is comedy, romance and animation. Games there are friendly games, like most of nintendo, mario(but not my game, lol) star fox, pikmin, animal crossing, and zeldas prettymuch mild. Also, its amazing how kids get ahold of these games and and keep the truth about them from their parent. There is a rating from esrb on every box, and the actual disc. Every one games are suitable for, well everyone. Teen, could be held by a child as long as they are normal minded. Mature, is for, MATURE AUDIENCES. Parents. Would you want your kids watching a porno, an extreme action movie, no? well, the same should be with games.

The point im trying to make is,(it wasnt clear, for those who replied) is that it IS INDEED THE PARENTS FAULT. Also for those again, there are children that are normal, im talking about those that arent. I still support violence in media, im explaining to the non supporters, that you dont like, stay the hell away from it then. It aint their dessision to take it away from people that enjoy it.
